Momentum Tuesday: Building from Vision

A vision is beautiful until you have to build it.

Seeing what something could be is exciting. But at some point the dream has to stop and start to require structure. It's NEVER enough to just see it, you have to build it. Throw yourself out there without the knowledge and learn from research and experience. You have to test it, stretch it, stop to start again, and sometimes tear it down just to rebuild it stronger

That’s where I am right now with THE CEO STYLE.

This rebuild isn’t just a concept, I've been laying the foundation piece by piece. No, not the products, or photoshoots, marketing, or any other public facing thing. I've been constructing the core foundation that will make this brand serve it's purpose. Sure, this behind the scenes work will make an outside person looking in think we're not doing anything. But quietly, we're building until it's time to pop out.

The Work Behind the Vision

I’ve been rewriting the mission, sharpening the pillars, redefining what we stand for, building operating procedures, brainstorming ideas that will make our company the number one ethical and humane place to work at. I will build around purpose this time, not pressure. Making sure that every piece created from this point forward has meaning stitched into it.

I've learned through experience that if the vision isn’t clear, the build may crumble. That before you worry about aesthetics, you have to get into alignment. Before you think about sales, you have to think about substance.

Building from vision requires discipline. And I will be honest with you all, the discipline and structure parts are what I struggle with most with right now. Trying to balance it all.

But if you were to ask me if I believe in this vision and can feel in my spirit the impact we can have? I'd say "absolutely." And that there is enough to make me force structure and discipline into my life, because the vision is bigger than me.

I know it will take long hours, unglamorous work, money that feels like it was wasted, reviewing ideas I was excited about then realizing it's not received well. The reminding to myself that patience is part of the process and that real things take time.

I’m actually going to enjoy this part of the journey. The building. The planning. The silence. Because this is where the soul of THE CEO STYLE is being refined.

When we return, we will feel different.

Vision is the easy part, everyone has ideas. But those who build legacies have a certain leadership quality that refines first, then hits the ground running without waiting for anyone else to go first. That see the vision and sticks to the plan. That doesn't allow opinions to cloud the vision.

This rebuild isn’t about chasing trends. It’s about building something timeless. Something that can stand on its own because it’s rooted in vision.

And I’m willing to build slow if it means building right.

Let's goooo

Peace.
