This Season is Your Training Ground

What you’re in right now is shaping you in ways you don't see at the moment. So let me help you see it.

The circumstances that are the ones you’d never choose are actually building the strength, wisdom, and resilience you’ll need for where you’re going. Trust me, I'm a witness to it.

Check this out...

Your job you dislike, is not just paying the bills.
It’s teaching you patience when you want to explode.
It’s teaching you how to problem solve and/or research without direct resources and training from others. It’s showing you how to deal with people you clash with, but have to work with. This'll be a skill that will save you in future boardrooms and business deals.

Your season of being overlooked is teaching you how to move without applause.
You learn how to keep showing up without validation. You learn how to build for purpose and not for a crowd to watch. This is the space where you learn focus and resilience.
It’s in this space when you develop self worth that doesn’t depend on someone else’s acceptance or approval.  So when you finally do get the spotlight, you won’t lose yourself in it.

Your heartbreak is breaking your idea of what love is supposed to look like so you can recognize the real thing.
It’s teaching you boundaries, self-respect, and how not to lose yourself in the wrong person. It’s here to strip away the parts of you that loved from emptiness.
You'll learn the difference between being chosen and being tolerated. It forces you to recognize and appreciate peace in love and not chaos.

Your season of being broke is not just the struggle.
It’s a crash course in creativity, resourcefulness, and stretching every dollar. (I managed to never spent a night outside even when my bank account couldn't afford a place to stay for the night.) This season is not about a shortage of money, it’s a season that forces you to see what you’re made of. It teaches you how to think five moves ahead with one dollar.
You learn how to negotiate and how to create opportunities.
You learn gratitude for every little win. Once you’ve learned how to survive and thrive with less, you carry the power most people will never know because now you can build from anywhere, with anything, and come out ahead.

Your feeling of being behind in life is teaching you that your timeline isn’t the world’s timeline.
It’s teaching you to trust God (or whatever your spiritual belief is) and have faith that it will come together. It's showing you that delay does not mean denial. And if you were to rush you may ruin everything patience would have made perfect.

So let this be a sign for you today. Pay attention to what life is teaching you right now.

Your got this.

Here's the move for this week...
Look at the hardest part of your life right now and ask:
If this was a training moment, what am I supposed to be learning from this?
Now go show up with your head held high.

Peace.
