If Momentum is how we move, love is the energy we move with.
We talk about focus and discipline a lot here, but what’s the point of putting in effort if it’s not grounded in something real? If you asked yourself — what would change if I did everything in love— in business, my personal life, in the everyday moments… do you think your outcomes would shift?
Love isn’t just a human act between people—it’s the way you move, create, speak, serve, and lead. How you treat yourself to how you handle business. It's how you care for others. And when actions are done in love, it builds different outcomes that last.
Most of us know what it means to move in survival mode. We know the routine of waking up and going straight into overdrive, trying to keep up, get ahead, or not fall behind. We know what it feels like to chase goals or money because we're afraid of what will happen if we don’t.Â
We know how to move in pressure. The pressure when deadlines are tight, when the bills are due, when there’s no room to breathe or just simply rest and take a chill day alone.
We know how to move in fear: The fear of failure, fear of judgment, fear of being overlooked, fear of missing out, fear of the world...just afraid of everything.
We know how to move in ego—needing to prove everything, proving to someone or to ourselves. Needing validation. Needing to be seen.
We know how to move in frustration. When nothing is going right, and people don't understand you. When it feels like you're pouring into something that’s not pouring back.
So, how does this tie into love you may be wondering?
Moving out of love is moving with intention. Love slows you down to make sure you’re building something real, reminding you why you're doing this in the first place.Â
The intention to your effort, and the peace to your progress when things become hard.Â
This is what love looks like:
In Business & Ambition:
- Creating from passion.Â
- Choosing ethics and making decisions based on your values.
- Setting boundaries because you respect your vision
- Investing in people.
- Building your business to serve people, not just for profits. Â
- When placed in leadership positions, leading through love is how you make people feel seen.Â
Â
In Personal Life:
- Choosing to be present in the moment with yourself or the people around you–not constantly thinking of what you have to do later or next week, or what you need to do for work, etc.
- Apologizing when you're wrong.
- Speaking to yourself with grace, not judgement.
- Listening without needing to dominate the conversation or just to react.
- Pausing when your instinct is to react.
- Speaking life into others.
So going forward, let love be your starting point. Let it guide your words, your work, your decisions, and your Impact.
Whether you’re building something, healing from something, or just trying to keep going… choose love as the foundation. This is NOT an easy task, but I believe it can make a drastic change on your life and your mental. I hope you'd agree.
Peace.
