I was supposed to write this blog earlier. Truth is, I should've written it days in advance.
It was on my to-do list, right next to "do client work," "work on music," and "build my business."
But you want to know what happened?
Life. Work. Fatigue.
I clocked in and gave my job 10 hours of my time, and now I’m sitting here tired. I'm behind on my own goals for the day, and honestly just trying to muster up enough energy to write this.
If this is you, too, this one’s for us...
This is for the dreamers who don’t get to build full-time yet.
The ones who wake up early or stay up late, trying to squeeze purpose in between paychecks.
The ones who are grateful for the job they have, but not fulfilled by it.
The ones who still believe in more. Even when it feels far away.
I see you.
It’s not easy to pour your best hours into someone else’s company, then afterwards try to pour into your own
It’s not easy to stay motivated when your energy is low. But, yet, you still keep showing up.
So, even if showing up today just means thinking about the life you want, take a moment and bask in that thought tonight.
It all counts. You're still maintaining the momentum mentally, and tomorrow you can put your physical work.
So here’s your reminder for tonight:
You're not lazy. You are balancing a lot, all while still finding space to believe in something bigger, better, and purposeful. Whatever it is that you desire, you are allowed to want it.
You’re steadily building every time you don’t give up. So on the days you’re tired, it’s okay if you don’t do it all. Just don’t lose the vision.
Keep that fire lit. Cause one day, you won’t have to fight so hard for the life you want.
Til then, have grace with yourself, but keep moving.
Peace
